Best price on .40S&W?

The best i've found is Wal-Mart $15.97/100rd WWB.
Academy has 250rd for $42 UMC.
All of the other shops have 50rd for $9.95 and up.
Dongs has AMERC for $7.99 but I won't use that stuff.

Do you guys know where any better deal is?

I just bought Lawman .40 165 gr. for $8.32 for 50. Lets see, thats $16.64 for 100. But the good thing this week is that I got 10% off that, so its cheaper this week anyway at Outdoor America.

Natchez shooters and Sportsman Guide has been running a lot of ammo specials. If I remember right (and i am getting old) Sportsman had some .40 cal Tritan stuff on sale real cheap. i have heard it is good ammo on par with Corbon.

Well,my main concern is plinking ammo.
Self defense ammo doesn't widely vary in price between calibers.
I never buy SD ammo in any larger lots than 100.

If we could get enough people together to make a large bulk purchase we could look into "factory" reloads. I am not sure how much they are nowadays but I do know that there are several reliable companies out there.
