O.K. guys I am posting this to try to find my wife a puppy, she is really looking to get a new one. She is really looking for a Maltese 1st and then Silky Terrier next, maybe a Shelti, But she is really open to any kind of small puppy that stays SMALL when it's grown. We are looking to spend about $100-150 nor more really, let me know what you have.

I volunteer at the OKC animal shelter and they have small dogs and puppies there all the time. The good thing is the dogs are all checked out by a vet, spade/neutered and has it's shots....and any dog will only cost you $25.
You can check out the dogs they have at the shelter here.

I would go there and look. They have new dogs up for adoption every day. The petfinder list is only updated on Tues. and Thurs. nights.
The best ones go fast so try to get there when they open at noon.
I will be there to volunteer again on Thursday morning to walk the dogs. If you can be there at noon when they open I can help you out.
We can even get a leash and take it out back for you to "test drive" LOL.
BTW- I own 4 dogs. The last one was a 3 month old Sheltie from the shelter. He is a great dog. I was lucky. Since I volunteer there I get to play with the dogs and take the best ones home.

:hyper:I just adopted a dog from there today:hyper:. They have every kind you can think of, from puppies to full grown. I am amazed at all the different breeds. Its really worth a shot. There are like 3 or 4 rooms of dogs so if you go be sure an look in all rooms.:thumbup3:

Thanks for the info guy's. After many, many hours of research and driving and looking my wife finally bought a Maltese puppy. I sure would have rather spent the $25, I spent WAAAAAY more than that for her puppy! :buttkick:
