.223 ammo on sale

Federal American Eagle .223 55gr. FMJ is on sale at Natchez right now. It is $3.89 a box. I don't have an AR yet, so I am not used to buying .223 ammo. I am not sure how good of a deal this is, but I wanted to give you guys a heads up if it is.

You can buy Monarch at Academy for $2.86 a box. You can generally get WOLF for anywhere from $110- $140 a case of 1000.

I shot 1 box of the Fed. Am. Eagle through Hoov's AR. It seemed good to me. I think the American Eagle is 1 of the best quality "cheap" ammo you can buy.

Bought some Federal from Ammoman. 225.00/1000 shipped. Shot some through my good deal Bushmaster from the Firing Pin. It seems to shoot and group well. Ammoman has some xm193. Regards

I bought some Fed. Am. Eagle 55gr. FMJ at Sportsman's Warehouse. It was $3.99...
I also picked up some Winchester 5.56mm 55gr. FMJ for $4.95.
I have not really shopped around for this ammo, but this seems like a fair price???
