turkey hunting this weekend

I finaly got the time to get in the woods before the season up. I fully expect it to rain all weekend and I wont see any birds except woodpeckers. But that will be ok cause I am not at work. When I get back from Salisaw I will post how it went, when I dry out. I just ordered a S&W 460 mag. for deer season.Will give a range report when I can. I will bring it to the next couple of IDPA matches If anyone wants to see it or shoot it.:thumb:

Well I am back early due to to much rain. I didn't see any birds but I did hear 1. I also did see any deer. I wounder if the drought has anything to do with it. I did have a 1 1/2 foot green snake fall out of a tree about 4 foot from me. When i drove in the creek was 1/2 tire hieght when I drove out this morning it was up to my hood. I put my ruger p-90 a flash light and my cell phone in a chair in my tent when I woke up the chair was full of water, the pistol and flash light still work.Did I MENTION THAT MY TENT LEAKS. Cold wet and tired I decided to go home. When I got home I called about my S&W 460 and it wont be here till Monday. All and all still a better day than being at work.

I'm jealous as hell. I want a .460 XVR something fierce, but I can't afford it. I would be happy to pay to shoot yours when you get it. One way or the other, I want a good range report!

That is between the two of you. I know she won't tell you no, but walking to work from the sims every morning might suck(saving gas money for the Glock).:(
