.40 S&W at Academy

I was just on Academy's website and saw that they jacked the price of 40S&W UMC value pack up from $42 to $53. I wish I would have bought more before the price jump. Anybody else see this much of a rise in the price on anything else. I heard ammo prices were going up, but thats crazy!

Blazer is (was?) $9.83/50 which is grossly overpriced as you'll see if you shop around the net.
Blazer .40 should be no more than $6.99 but Academy insists on charging $9.83.....the same price as Blazer .45acp.

Precisely why I reload. All though I've spent hundreds getting set up and I'll probably spend hundreds more. Now that I think about it maybe I should start shopping at Academy. :)

I have never understood why .40 Blazer Aluminum at Academy is $9.83.
.40 Blazer Brass at Wal-Mart is $7.99...

Because academy has their head up their asses.
