I've read about several ranges that don't allow this. At H and H where I shoot, they allow rapid fire in the handgun range. Rifles require a 2 second pause between shots.

Am I the only one who enjoys rapid firing. I don't do it because I think it is good for training, improving accuracy/control, etc. When I rapid fire, I get the same -high- one might get when driving fast in a muscle car.

I know everyone won't agree and that's okay.

The best ever was my buddies 590 pump action 12ga. 9 shells in a few seconds really gets the pulse up.

I enjoy it, but at an organized range I could see how that could be a definate problem.

I dont see it as too much of a problem. But is is a distraction for anyone in there trying to give instruction or concentrate on fixing a fundamental flaw in their shooting.

I can definately understand how it could be distracting in situation like extremely focused training.

Regardless, it really gets me going. Double taps make me feel warm and fuzzy too.

Thats why I go to shoot out at my grandparents land and not to ranges. It is fun and you can use it to learn control while firing rapidly. One of the other things is it can point out some problems or shortcomings with your firearms if there are any.
