I think that I would like to shoot their BAR and M-60 on their rental range. Of course I would like to shoot a quad 50 and minigun as well.

I looked on their website and still didn't see where it's hosted at? I didn't see an address, link to map or directions. :(

I've been talking to Dave at the Firing Line. He tells me that there is going to be a Quad 50 and 3 miniguns there this year. Last year the minigun was available for rent.
Anyone want to meet up there this year?

Channel 4 in OKC actually had a pretty decent piece on their web site.
I've never shot full auto ... I don't have the money to get into it ... but I would darn sure like to try it at least once. And, I was in Mannford last week-end!!!:hithead: :hithead:

You're on! Anything I got you want to shoot?
So the shoot made national news today...MSNBC carried a segment on it that seemed to at best make fun of everyone there and at worst question private ownership of things there. Their obvious goal was accomplished when a few people around me at the airport laughed and were horrified about everything going on at the event. It would be nice to educate the public about this stuff but a positive education is clearly not the message that I took from the segment. They are using it for ammo as much as we are. Something to think about.

Sure enough.

This article seems pretty supportive of the shoot, especially the end..."What a great state to live in!"...assuming that's not a sarcastic comment, but the overall tone of the article suggests it's supportive.
Looking as this in more detail this appears to be the above-referenced Channel 4 scoop, even though it's on the MSNBC site.
As for the video you're describing, any links or transcripts of it? I'd be interested in seeing it, and I can't seem to find anything other than the above via Google searches.
No links. I caught it a couple of times at the airport yesterday while waiting for passengers. It was just a 4 or 5 minute clip on MSNBC with the local NBC affiliate and the national correspondent talking about the shoot. The running caption read "Blowed up real good".
