Who makes 'em? Who makes good ones? Are any aftermarket as good or better than Ruger's? Best place to buy?
Sure would be fun to have some reliable 30 rounders.

I bought a 50rd Ram-Line magazine from a guy on ebay for about $25

How well does it function?

Seems to work fine. Takes forever to load 50 rds in it.

I have tried both the Ramline and Butler Creek High Cap Mag. In my opinion, the Butler Creek Mags are the best. They are the only ones that will function reliably in a Ruger 10/22T model besides the factory 10 rounders. The Ramlines, on the other hand, give me trouble even in a Plain Jane 10/22. I have since renamed the Ramlines--Jamlines. Here again I will state that this is my opinion and that others may have had better luck with the Ramlines. :) :)

I got some of the cheapie Eagle ones from CDNN. Those worked fine for me. I ended up selling them on ebay when I ordered the 50rounder.
I got more on ebay for the eagle magazines than I paid for them on CDNN.
