Cool beans.
I like the leather belt loops much better than the Kydex clips of similar designs.

Kev, Will these have the capability to swap holster bodies for different platforms?

+1. Ad it looks from that side like there's a full "sweat guard". That's good wifebeater prevention for me in the summers!

J.P. - I'll have to check the viability of doing the swap on the holster bodies. The one thing with our style also is that it will be a full coverage of the gun versus a half-covered style. I've read too many reports of the guns wearing a hole in the pants with a half-covered style.

skyydiver - It does have a full cover on the sweat guard. However, it's cut away enough to allow for a full grip.

Looks interesting - even for a leather lover like me

That would be a nice feature if you could get several different holster bodies.

As mentioned above, we are introducing our version of the leather/kydex IWB holster. This model is our Stampede Defender holster.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v107/Leathercrafter/IWBHybrid1a.jpg

Our version will come standard with the traditional leather loops for IWB wear. We will be offering, as an option, the adjustable cant/depth kydex clips. These will be available in a standard (loop over the belt) and velcro style. They will also allow for tucking in of the shirt. They will mount in the same holes as the leather loops. You would simply remove the leather loops and put the clips in place of them. The kydex shell will also be available in a leather-lined version (at an additional cost).

Our version follows the basic lines of our Dakota Defender, to include the suede-lined backing.

Our version will cover the complete slide of the gun, rather than only partial coverage of the gun. You will have the ability to adjust the tension as well with the two screws that are just forward of the trigger guard/below the dust cover. In addition, you'll be able to achieve a full grip on the gun. The Stampede Defender is available in either right or left hand version. It is available in black or brown color.

We are compiling the list of guns this holster will be available for. Initially, it's available for the guns we have listed currently on our website.

The price for our version is $75 + $7/shipping. The additional cost for the adjustable/tuckable kydex clips is $18.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. You can most easily reach me at our shop. Our number is 813-659-3456, and we're available Monday-Saturday, 9:00 - 6:00 (eastern time).

Having tried similar designs by another maket\r who used the Kydex clips, I can say that I'd much prefer the leather loops.
(did I already say that?)

We will be offering, as an option, the adjustable cant/depth kydex clips. These will be available in a standard (loop over the belt) and velcro style. The tuckable option is very nice to have.

The kydex shell will also be available in a leather-lined version (at an additional cost).
I've seen other Kydex holsters offered with this opotion....what are the benefits of this design?

Our version will cover the complete slide of the gun, rather than only partial coverage of the gun.
That's a great idea.
Aside from wearing out your pants as mentioned above, it also eliminates any issues with your front sight snagging and also prevents the gun from being popped loose by any pressure on the muzzle.

In addition, you'll be able to achieve a full grip on the gun.
This is a very important feature which is often overlooked by many when selecting a holster.
If you can't obtain a full and solid firing grip on your gun before the draw you could be facing some serious issues with retention, particularly in a struggle.
There is more to holster selection than simply being able to conceal the gun and if you don't have it positioned in a manner that allows easy unobstructed access then it might as well not even be on your body in many cases.
Anyone who wants to put this to the test, go sign up for a hands-on training class and you'll soon discover the value of unfettered access under stress.
