I just finished day 1 of TDSA's Advanced Combat Pistol Level 1 class. All I can say is WOW!!!!

I've wanted to do this for along time and had put it off, now I am sorry I did, should have done this years ago.

OK, I can say alot more, but am so tired and have homework to do.

Thanks for the post. I have been wondering what to get for my birthday...gonna go to one of these soon.

It is my birthday present, and I have to say it is the best present I have ever gotten.

I THOUGHT I was a decent shooter prior to the class. I learned so many things today that improved my shooting. I hate to say it but I can see this as an addiction......

Wife said she is signing me up for the Competition Pistol since the next Combat Level I is so far down the road. The next Combat Level I is marked PRIVATE.

Anyone here been to both can tell me the major difference between the two?

Funny story, when I took AP1 I was shooting at the very end of the line next to the tree line. There was a big guy to my inside that was just smoking fast and accurate He was my only reference to how I was doing and I thought for half of the day I was absolutely horrible..... turned out it was Lance Jensen. He had not yet become an instructor but was retaking the course I believe. Also, he was shooting from duty gear and I, along with everyone else was shooting from Kydex.

As Shootsum said, once you take a class... you realize how much room for improvement there is.

Just got home from day 2.

The improvements are unreal, folks improved from 20-50% on their time and accuracy.

Now I have to practice, practice, practice. Marshall and his team helped me build a foundation to be a good shooter, now I have to build my skills

Lance was one of the Instructors, he and the rest of the TDSA Team are top notch. This was by far the best money I have ever spent, period.

I just finished AP1 today!:w000t: I learned so much that I thought my head would explode. I learned that most of what I did sucked:doh: and Marshall and the team at TDSA gave me the tools to fix it! My accuracy improved to what I had been wanting for a very long time.:mosh: Now that I have the Sn@pOn toolbox and tools of shooting, I can get started with correct perfect practice.

Thank you TDSA! YOU ROCK!

Does anyone from the AP1 class over the past weekend have muscles that they did not know they had?

I sure found out that I had some that were angry at me!

That class was more fun than I have ever had shooting! I am paying for it now but it was worth it!

My wife and I took the Basic Handgun Marksmanship class yesterday. Marshal and Jay were excellent. We are both new to shooting and this is only the 2nd time my wife has shot a pistol. I bought her a new M&P 9mm and figured she would take one shot and decide this was not for her, but she hung in there like a trooper and with Marshall and Jay's help, she was grouping shots by the end of the day! :woohoo1:

The TDSA team did an awesome job, and kept it fun and exciting all day long. :thanku:

Now I know why I suck so bad at the range! haha!

It was a GREAT day. Time well spent! :thumbup3:
