Holy cow, Lake Hefner is very low! I would be afraid to put a boat in the water. I had to try out a couple of the new rods and reels that I bought. It was so hot yesterday, not even the rocks were biting. Guy next to me caught a nice blue cat, though. He offered it to me, but I turned him down. It would be kind of like someone offering to lend you their underwear. Nice gesture, but I would rather go commando.

Hey hoov help is on the way I just read where they are going to let a bunch of water out of Canton to help refill a couple of OKC lakes for water, don't know what it will do for the fishing for either of us. I went out last thursday and caught a couple of large mouth but nothing to brag about, sure beats working or mowing the yard.

Thanks for the info! I know Hefner is low because it is our water supply. I fully expect to see water rationing this summer. Personally, I would rather not have to mow. I just can't get excited about a nice yard. I would rather go fishing!

I don't think people would want to see me fishing "truly commando!"

My bayonnet doesn't have a hook and I don't wear tidy whities!

My "Belly Opener Rambo" knife also has fishing line and hooks in the handle in case I can't find a belly
