I can't wait to go shoot. Probably head to the range after work today and pop that baby off. May take a video camera with me. :)

.300 win mag pistol?
I know... I'm a hand cannon addict. :)
It didn't kick as much as I thought it would with the muzzle brake... may pick out something a little bigger like the 375 H&H Mag that I originally wanted. Fox Ridge wouldn't chamber it for me though. :(

I'm a big guy and I like big guns. :) I'm not recoil sensitive so it takes a pretty big kick to get my attention.
The 300 Win Mag was so loud that we all had to double plug, and the blast to the sides caused by the muzzle brake tended to clear all light items off the adjacent tables. :rotflmao:
We decided the Holographic sight couldn't handle being on the gun as it drifted all over the place. It wasn't too noticeable at close range, but on the 100 yrd targets, as soon as you got it within 6 inches of the middle, a couple shots later it was off the paper again. I'm going to replace it with a good scope.
Here's me getting ready to fire the 300 Win Mag on my Thompson Encore. It was a blast. Literally.

It is... that's at the plinking area where you can bring just about anything from home, and shoot it. The 300 WM completely disintegrated two pop cans. One was full of pop, the other was empty. Both disappeared into little pieces. :mean:

I'll add a picture of the barrel to this thread. Most fun shooting I've had in a long time. :)

Have you had the chance to shoot the S&W .500 revolver?
If so, how do those compare?

I never have but I want to. :) I would guess the 500 S&W would kick more than this thing does. The JP brake on it is amazingly effective.

Yes they do... the IWB holder goes just below the belly button. Even concealed, it will impress the ladies. :igetit:
