Price check please!!! Chi-com SKS

A guy I work with is wanting to sell a Chinese SKS (bought back in the late 80's he thinks). It's in OK shape, missing the cleaning rod and bayonet. Has a couple of rust spots to clean and the stock needs some TLC. He has asked me to make an offer as he says he has no idea of what it's worth. Any thoughts? Thanks all.

I did some searches (not positive it's the same item) excellent was $199, good was $149, and according to your description I would offer less.

I've not seen one of those for sale for awhile now. I do remember that I bought the last one I had back in about 1992. I paid $69.00, picked one out of the crate at SW Shooters, and spent some time with it at the car wash using the pressure washer to get rid of all the cosmoline. I should have kept that one, it was a great plinker.
