Dear fellow OSA members,
I am sorry I have been out of the loop for the last four months. I am writing this now early in the morning because as the days progress and I think about posting I know that it would serve no purpose because it would probably get deleted because of all the "F Bombs!" I have had some crap going on in my personal life that started back in January and climaxed in April. These events included having to put my Grandmother who I take care of in a less than desirable "Geri-Psych" nursing home facility that constantly smells of urine and feces (it was the only one that would take her because of her mental health status.), followed by my sister being diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma (Cancer), followed by my wife and I separating and ending our marriage (I am convinced that she is a manic depressive aka bi-polar), and then the death of one of my true childhood friends of 30+ years. The culmination of all of these factors has overwhelmed me to say the least to the point that it has drained me of all energy and willpower. I have a 1 year old daughter that I keep when I am not at work and that takes a lot of my time that I use to have to send/respond to emails, return phone calls, and etc. With that being said, here is my apology for not returning your repeated phone calls and emails, "I am sorry!" I will have you know that I have not been on OSA since late February/early March and have not read any of the concerns other members have written about me. It is not that I don't care, it's just that I have friends on OSA who have kept me posted and quite frankly I could not bring myself to read the posts because from what I understood was that they were mostly negative in nature and I knew that the only purpose it would serve would be to make me pissed and angry.
MEGA MACHINE SHOP
It seems there has been a lot of rumors and misconceptions about this. The only thing I will apologize here for is not being more assertive following up on our order. When I first started talking to Mega, I dealt directly with the man in charge, Brian Damis. He is the one who quoted me the prices, took my order, and the only person that I communicated with. It seems now he has a secretary by the name of Tonya that I knew nothing about until recently. Apparently Mega became slammed with orders that it overwhelmed Brian so they transferred this woman from another department to the firearms section to help manage Brian. Unfortunately it became plenty obvious to other members that this woman had no idea who I was and knew nothing about an order besides what other members have told her. For this I will not apologize for, that is on MEGA, however as I said above, I do apologize about not being more assertive with talking to a "live" person instead of leaving voice and email messages. As far as the order goes, I sent them the copies of the artwork (again) last week via an email and called and left a message with Tonya in which I did not get a reply as of yet.
I gave you my word that I would get this done and I have no other alternate motives but to do so. All I ask is that you do not call MEGA representing me and ask questions. All this has done so far is irritated them, irritated me, and caused nothing but chaos! All it takes for a virus to spread is one or two people spreading information whether it be on here or to MEGA. Like I already have stated, I am sorry for not being more assertive in the past, but the reason why I was not was because I know these companies are slammed with 1,000+ unit orders and I was trying to be as courteous to them as I could because I felt as if they were doing us a favor. I will continue to call them twice a week (Monday and Friday at the latest) to find out progress. I understand the worries that some may have no matter if you purchased 1 or 10 lowers. You will get the product that was promised.

I have still not received the order of LPKs from them. At the time I posted that they should be in the following week (late February?), I was receiving back orders from them every other week and when I was on the phone with them, I asked, and that was what they told me, that "they should ship out by the end of next week." I spoke to them earlier this month/late May and they told me that yes indeed they still showed that order of LPKs on order and told me that they are not giving out shipping date estimations! At the time when I proposed doing this order, my only motive for it was that I was fed up with people trying to sell LPKs for $90 and up and was trying to offer the members an opportunity to obtain some at my cost with sales tax and S&H added in. I am looking at other avenues to obtain the LPKs (Possibly from DPMS, Doublestar, & etc) but have not found anything in concrete as of yet. That is not to say that come this week, this month RRA could ship the order, it's just that I am looking into alternatives.
I now regret ever offering to do any of this. In my recent absence from the board I have received "hate letters" in the mail, been accosted at gun shows with people trying to make me out to be a thief, voice mails that have caused my voice mailbox to become saturated to the point that others can't leave messages (which could be a good thing!), and numerous emails to the point my inbox routinely has 300+ unread messages (granted most are junk emails anyway) but hopefully you get my point. I know for a fact that some of my friends have posted information about me to let you all know I am still alive and well and have not skipped town. All that I would ask is that of certain members to quit trying to wear me out, you win, it works! What a lot of people take for granted is that this is a public forum. Anybody from anywhere can look at our forums and see what is being discussed. I know some of you are angry, but at what? Do you think I honestly sabotaged any of these group buys? Give me a break, some of the members that are involved in these buys are fellow public servants whether police or fire that I will be stuck working around until I retire. Some of the people are my true OSA "hommies." In closing I ask that nobody takes offense to anything I have voiced through this post. I understand how some of you all are frustrated because of the lack of "customer service" on my behalf. All I would ask is that you try to understand that I really haven't been vacationing in Mexico while this propaganda has been getting spread. I don't drink, do drugs, or have excessive gambling habits or addictions. I have purchased/sold many things on OSA without ever screwing anybody over. And further more, I don't ever remember adding a refund clause to either of these group buys, so to the person who turned me in to the Better Business Bureau, pretty cunning indeed! Way to welcome a bunch of firearms sympathetic people onto our board! May you suffer from irregular bowel habits and constipation for the rest of your life! (This is why I had to post this early, it has been close to an hour of typing and the nastiness is coming out!) Oh, and one more subject,

This is not to single anybody out, but hopefully now everybody will have a chance to read it from the horse's (my) mouth. I will try to dissect my PM inbox and emails for the next couple of days and respond. Please share this with others who may not know that I posted this here.
