I dove hunt on my friend's land. Very, very few birds there, but it gets me out of the house.

I know of what promises to be a good shoot. It's pricey, but it should be worth it.
T.J. Switzer, who has Salt Creek Camp fishing resort down on Hugo Lake, has put together a deal with a big landowner who has several hundred acres of milo and corn down south of Hugo near the Red River. They're charging $150, but that also covers accommodations and a steak dinner with beer and soft drinks, etc., at a local restaurant. Anyone interested can call TJ at 580-317-5434.

it has been hard finding a good place to dove hunt this year. i shot alot last year but this year since season opened i have only got 5 birds. i was told about a guy that is on hwy 75 north of tulsa about 12 miles that is leasing fot $50 a day per person im still waiting for the details on the guy but as soon as i hear i will post them.

From what I have seen in the past that is usually just for the first few days. Because that is when everyone hunts after Labor Day weekend it really slows down. If you get the information I might be interested.

It is fun if you actually get a chance to see something and shoot...which doesn't happen very often for me since we hunt public land :(

Yeah, I bet I'd like it. I just couldn't shoot something small and fuzzy. Deer I can handle though, lol!
