OK Guys,

If you haven't noticed by now my life revolves around OU football. I was thinking a general sports forum would be nice on the site. No big deal, I can just post in the general discussions forum, however thought it may be nice.

We tried last year. We were told that the site wasn't busy enough yet. Once we had more members and more activity, they might do it. For now, its still in the general discussion thread.

I'm sure it won't be too much longer before we would have a sports forum.

although i'm not a sports fan, enough of the threads in the gen discussions are about sports, it would be easier for you sports nuts to keep track of your sports threads, and keep the gen section a little less cluttered.

Just my opinion, but there are good sports boards out there, so why have sports forum on a gun board? I used to like GlockTalk but it has gotten far too busy with forums for anything and everything. I like to scan the new posts but am not interested in food forums, pet forums, religious forums, car forums, etc., etc. on a gun board.

I agree with you there. Glocktalk has waaaaay too many forums. Its nice to keep is simple.

On the other hand, we don't have a crazy amount of forums here, so I think a sports forum would still be pretty cool.

Once we start a "beenie baby" forum (for bulbboy of course), I'm outa here.....:)

Some people may not like it, BUT...... Glocktalk has a ton of traffic and that's one of the reasons.
