What ammo do you guys use for dove hunting?
What choke do you use in your shotgun?
What is your favorite recipe for tasty dove?

I use Remington heavy dove loads in 12 ga.
No choke (I just seem to hit more this way)
Maybe I'm a real redneck, but I'll take mine fried.

1. Remington Heavy Dove Loads, 7.5's.
2. Modified.
3. We grill ours, but lots of people tell me they like them deep-fried.

20 ga 1 oz reloads in 7 1/2 shot, AA or the good Remington cases.
1100 LT or LW 20 ga with skeet choke
or, 28ga IC choke Browning BPS with 7/8 oz of #8 shot (my reloads)
or, any of several open choked 12 ga guns with small shot if the birds are likely to be at extreme ranges.
Wrap browned breast in cheap bacon--grill 'till done. Save the hearts and grill them on buttered foil. (No longer eating them raw as birds are cleaned just in case bird flu shows up in North America, but I miss that--used to gross out absolutely everyone!) CB

I use Remington 7.5 or 8 just the cheap stuff for 3.58 a box. Improved choke since my extra full leaves very little meat to eat.

I stopped by Wal-Mart tonight to pick up some dove decoys. They are out. The guy said the Yukon Wal-Mart was the only store to receive decoys, so they shipped some to the other stores. I guess I'll have to make a trip to Bass Pro.
Anyone else sell dove decoys?
