The Defensive Edge training, good?

I just found out that The Defensive Edge is going to have a handgun training course a few miles from me. Has anyone been to any of their classes? Would you recommend them?
This would be my first formal training besides CCW (if you call that training).

The description makes it sound pretty basic. But I am always open to new ideas.

They are also having a Carbine class the same weekend, I might also look into it but at this point I think the handgun class would be more relevant to me.

I just signed up for AP1 and AP2 through TDSA. I say save your money and sign up for these classes while there are spots open. Plus you save money if you sign up for both.

I have been talking to several people who have taken these classes, and they can't stop saying how much it helps and how good the guys at TDSA are.
