I think a food forum would work here. With a eating establishment in Tulsa and OKC, and places in between.Plus we could swap recipes, and at least we would know where to find Stepper.

That's about the only reason I go over to "Glock Talk" anymore. I do enjoy cooking and trying new things.

Don't forget man... restaurant supply stores are your friend! There are some things I'll buy at Savory chef, but for stuff like:

Whisks
sheet pans
non-stick pans
sauce bottles (if you need that kind of thing)
dishers
cutting boards
mixing bowls
hot pads/mits

and a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting right now, you can get great stuff at restaurant supply stores for way cheaper.

Bulbboy, I can't get my wife out of the Stock Pot. It is like great gun store for her. Damn, I hate it when we go there. I know she will be dropping at least two bills there.

In our house I'm the one that spends the money on cooking stuff. For some reason, I love to cook. Cleaning the dishes stinks though...

Same here. In fact I do ALL the cooking in our household. It's tough to rationalize that I need a new gun, when I also just got a new All-Clad pot the week before... DOH! :bigeye:

She doesn't even have any $$$ hobbies for me to use to balance out the cost with logic! Fortunately she loves to travel, and I could take it or leave it so that is "her" $$$ spending outlet. :D

I keep trying to get my wife into some sort of hobby - so I can justify mine!!
