Never had a Kahr before, just picked up a K9 in a trade. Are they worth a crap??

NYCPD has them certified as a off-duty/BUG. From what I understand thats no easy task.
I love my PM9.

Picked up a MK9 a couple of months ago and absolutely love it! Very impressed! I now alternated it with my Glock 27 for daily carry. Congrats

That Kahr K9 is really near the top of the list of those guns I should have kept, but traded off anyway. Mine was the closest thing to a perfect handgun I've ever owned! Shoot yours a little, I bet you'll decide to keep it.

My dad has one. Not a single problem. I have shot it next to my glock 19 and the recoil is less with it. I would take one in a second. Good gun.

My only complaint is with the magazines. You need a really tight magazine pouch or else the rounds have a way of working their way out of the magazine. I for one like to throw an extra magazine or three in various pockets when fishing or otherwise enjoying the great outdoors. This requires that I periodically dig loose rounds out of my pockets and stick them back in the magazines.

I've been using a UM #4 pocket holster I cut in half for my PM9 mags. If a round works its way out atleast it will be in the pouch.
This makes a very covert carry with the 2 mags in a rear pocket and the PM9 in the front pocket or on an ankle. 21 rounds of +p goodness that is very hard to detect.

I don't have the K9, but carry the P9. Sometimes I think I want to carry something else and pull the the G19 or Sig 239 out of the safe...But always go back to the Kahr. Love the size and reliability.

Shot it today and I don't care for it. Love the way it feels in my hand but hate the trigger and can't get over the fact that its S/S (finish).
