Just 1 week from the day I sent the money order. I have been wearing it around the house this evening. I think that it will work just fine. It works so well with my Beretta Tomcat that I may have to get another one for my Combat Commander too. Been practicing drawing (unloaded of course) too. The holster seems to be everything that they claim it to be, comfortable, invisible, and easy to draw from. So far, I like it. The wait for CCW permit is 4 weeks so far.

I was carrying with a CTAC IWB and I still do sometimes, but with a toddler to constantly pickup and chase down when I'm out, the smartcarry has been awesome for me with a G26. I choose it 98% of the time these days. Someday when I don't have to bend so much, I'll probably go back to the IWB for faster access...
Good Luck,
Alan
I smartcarry a G23 when I have no other option.
They work great.

Does it have a trigger guard or is it just a pocket for the gun?

Be careful what you ask for. We don't want one of the OSA commando's to submit self portraits if you know what I mean.

would it be better than a c-tac for a glock 19? and also does it have the trigger guard?

Hi JohnBM,
I think they are $47.95+$5 for shipping. www.smartcarry.com
They recommended a medium for me, but I went with a small because I wanted something a little smaller and it works great for my G26. You would probably want a medium for a G19 however.
The trigger is covered, but not with a solid material like kydex.
They do have a one time trial period where you can try it and return it if you don't like it.
I don't that know that I would say better than a CTAC. CTAC has the edge in access speed and covering the trigger with solid kydex, and the SmartCarry has the edge in concealment. You don't have to restrict your movement like you would with the IWB.
Good Luck,
Alan

Tempting, tempting. I guess that is the true "commando". Gotta keep the jewels guarded if not hidden, huh?
