Oil Capital's regular USPSA-sanctioned IPSC match is coming this Sunday October 8. Expect 6 stages, between 100-150 rounds, and a Classifier stage. Sign-in 9:30, walk-thru 10 AM. For range map, go to http://www.ocrgc.org/location.htm Enter off 101st St.
Solid rumor has it that some well known USPSA Shooters are lurking in these parts, in anticipation of the USPSA Nationals at USSA later this month. We would not be the least bit suprised to have some of them attend local matches, such as this one. They are certainly welcome!

Wonder who the potential mystery visitors could be? Come shoot with us and find out.

I was wondering the same thing. I look bad enough shooting with the normal crowd.:lookaroun
Seriously though, I have been able to make it to one Oil capital match. It is a pretty long drive for me but well worth it.

Heck, my idea is to watch THEM; I might learn something. Year's ago I range officered major IPSC matches just to get to closely observe Bill Wilson, Chip McCormick and the like. I'm watching them; they couldn't care less about me. Folks like Leatham will talk to you, as long as they aren't about to shoot. He's a hoot to visit with by the way.

You are absolutely correct. It's kinda like I told my son about playing sports, you learn and improve by playing against people better than you.
I wish I could make it this month but I will be shooting at a local club. They are just getting started and trying to get enough shooters to get affiliated with USPSA.

How about that? This Sunday, Oct. 8th, you can shoot USPSA atOil Capital in Tulsa (at 9:30 AM) and still get to OKC in plenty of time to shoot USPSA at H & H at the 5:30 PM sign-in.
