If you read much on here you already know what I think of TDSA and the Praesidium Group.

This was our second time to attend this course. We took it for the first time last May and were so amazed and overwhelmed we took it again. Now having taken it for a second time I will tell you my wife and I have both come to the same conclusions. First we are joining Mike and Brandon's training group, its too good of an opportunity to pass up. Second as long as we carry a weapon to defend ourselves we will continue to take this course annually. We feel strongly that it is a duty and a resposibility if we are going to be out in public with a weapon that we know how to safely defend ourselves against a realistic threat without endangering others.

Having said that here's where the rubber meets the road and the B.S. is gonna end.

Do you carry a gun for protection? Do you KNOW for CERTAIN that you can safely access and employ it in the midst of a real criminal assault without getting yourself, your family, or other bystanders injured or killed? If so how do you know?

I thought I did, I thought getting my wife a gun would make her and my children safer? After taking this class the first time I found out just how WRONG I was, and just how dangerous my ignorance could have been for her and our children. Frankly it scared the $#!t out of me when I realized just what I had done.

I cannot adequately express my gratitude for all of Brandon, Mike, Marshall, and Eric's time, sweat, and blood they've given to create this course and their other courses. They have spent YEARS working to be able to provide something that unfortunately isn't available to most. In fact it has been far superior to any military or LE training I have ever had. And you should know this class wasn't designed for LE or military with civilians as an after thought. It was designed for people like you and me who have to be on the same streets with the murderers, rapists, muggers, and pediphiles as we go about our regular daily lives.

This course is reality based, it's physical, it's scary, and it's the best gift you could give yourself or someone you love. Don't let this statement deter you because of your age or sex. These guys are awesome and you will be perfectly safe at all times.

So if you carry a gun professionally or as a civilian I am challenging you to swallow your ego and take this class. Guys, I don't care how much you've shot or where you've trained you will benefit tremedously from this class. Despite popular belief the male gene does not equip us with any inborn gun handling abilities.

I am so confident in this course's ability to help women prepare to defend themselves that my wife has gone twice and my daughters will attend as soon as they are old enough. Guys my wife told me I could have never convinced her to feel good about carrying a gun without this training.

I am stealing Brandon's line/thunder here but he said it best when he quoted the movie the Matirx and said you can take the red pill (in this case the CQT course) and see just how deep the rabbit hole goes or you can take the blue pill (dont' take the class) and go back to you life as if nothing ever happens and everything is fine. Until God forbid something does happen and you find out the hard way while paying a terrible price. Tulsa and OKC made the 100 most dangerous cities in America. Do something to ensure your safety and help take back our streets. I promise you won't be sorry you did!

Mike, Brandon, Eric, Marshall THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THE GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE AND TRUTH. I hope we never need it but if we do I know what you've taught us will see us home.

Sounds like great training. Someday I hope to have the opportunity to train with them.

I had the same epiphany after going through Southnarc's ECQC course. This training is not optional if you are serious about giving yourself a chance of surviving a gun fight. You will see that the feeling of safety bestowed by simply having a CCW is an illusion.

I have to agree with Tacmedic on his views. The class changed my views on what I can do and what I can't. I certainly found out that a 2 on 1 assault can be bad news and that I need to change my impulse to fight first and try to create more space if I am able to. I will be taking the class again and I plan to join the training group also. I would encourage people to get quality training...most people unfortuneately don't have a clue when it hits the fan. I plan to continue learning and I will have my son involved in this type of training when he is old enough too. (He can't quite handle a Glock yet at the age of 3; but he does know how to put on a great choke hold). Mike,Brandon,Eric, and Marshall...thank you for a great class, Soren:thumb:

I ditto the comments made here. This class was an eye-opener to say the least. Having a SDA permit is not enough to gain an advantage in the real world --I learned that lesson the hard way :-)

The experience helped instill courage and confidence in my abilities to defend myself.

It took alot for all of us to engage in the force on force and the lessons learned from this are invaluable.

I am proud that we have the "best of the best, world-class training" like this in Tulsa. I am thankful for the instruction that I received and for the professionalism of Mike, Brandon, Eric, and Marshall.

If you are out there thinking about taking this class --do it now. I may save your life.
