I plan on making it up Saturday. What time is early to help set up? I looked up where it's located on the web page but it doesn't list an exact address. Is it obvious where it is when you get to the listed intersection?

Its not that easy to find. and make sure you get a gate code on the RC website. Its basically inside the Zink ranch.

I'll be running a Nighthawk Custom in single stack division.

i'm pretty good at IDPA but I suck at IPSC so don't expect me to put on an exhibition by any means.
Hell,i'm a Glock shooter afterall. ;)

If you go to the Red Castle Gun Club web site I belive that they have a map, I belive if you come in on 412 and take exit 97b then head north. As far as early set up 8 am would be great. But any help any time is always welcomed. See you Saturday.

It was a great day for shooting even if I did stink it up with my poor shooting. We just had about 24 shooters so it went pretty quick. Nice scenic drive this time of year as well up around Zink ranch.

I didn't shoot worth a darm either but I did learn something......
No matter how much a 1911 costs,it is still a POS.
I had 3 FTEj with the Nighthawk custom.
For some reason,I chalked it up to a certain mag and kept it out of rotation but then I realized that a mag has nothing to do with Ejection problems.

The only 1911s I've never had a problem with were/are my Colts but even Mack45's Colt took a sh!t last weekend.

On another note.....
Why aren't the scores posted yet?!?!?!?!
They run around taking the sheets from you but the scores still arent posted.
unless I'm missing them somewhere else besides Tulsashooters.com
If anyone has the scores, please post them here.

I had a good time at the match but I sucked rocks as well.
Good to meet MarkV and his girl.

I still haven't seen the scores.
He got a lot of freebies on steel because he was gettin' two-fers on the plates. :D

Yes, I hate to admit it but the Colt's extractor broke. I had to fall back on the backup gun, the Glock 21. A little faster with the Glock, just not as accurate.

I tried Single Stack for a while but stink enough just trying to think what I'm going to do and putting the round on target without having to worry about gun problems. I'm back to Glock to stay, got a 26, 19, and 34 now. I think I"m going to shoot the 19 tonight at H&H. They usually get the scores up at Red Castle sometime during the next day so we'll probably see them later today. Bet I finished worse than JP, even with his gun malfunctions. :(

Make no mistake about it,they weren't *my* guns.
I borrowed them from Eric Fuson.
I shoot Glocks and wheelers. :D

I got 14th over all out of 22 or 23 shooters. JP I think you got 18th or 19th. JP I think you friend (Lance) was in the top 5.

They said the scores would be posted HERE (http://www.tulsashooters.com/) in a day or two. I got 6th in the classifier which I'm really excited about. I'll have some video of me up in a little bit. My camera woman was having some technical difficulties from time to time. :D

I waited about 30-40 min after everything was cleaned up in the club house to see the scores. I even got a little plaque for getting first place in unclassified L10. Ya me. :D There was only 3 people in unclassified L10 but a win is a win. :D

I needed all the help I can get with those two fers on the steel. :D

I had a blast and so did Courtney. That is a real nice place up there.

JP it was nice meeting you and littleblue too.

-and how did MarkV and his million dollar XD shoot?

I have just over a grand in my whole set up. :) Those STI's are like 4 G's. :)

No I handled it just fine and I do have to say that those were some very nice shooting loads.
Several times i couldn't get an empty mag to drop free either...probably my fault.
