Hello Shooters,
The 2007 TDSA Calendar is up. Just FYI the February Advanced Combat Pistol Level I class is half full already. We've been overwhelmed with registrations because people are starting to realize that if you snooze you loose. Keep in mind that all of our classes come with a 100% moneyback guarantee so you can register and attend without having to worry about anything. It's simple: If you take a class with us and aren't 100% completely satisfied with the training you got or simply didn't have fun or whatever, we'll refund 100% of your tuition with no questions asked. Sign up with confindence knowing that we haven't had to give anybody their money back in 6 years of service.

Come see why TDSA is bringing in Special Forces groups from Fort Bragg, S.E.R.E. Instructors from Washington and Marine Force Recon groups from all over. We're doing something right and it's obvious.

Merry Christmas everyone. Stay safe and please, pray for our Military and our leaders.

I thought that TDSA was going to be part of the new USSA school?? Not upset by any means, just curious if TDSA will remain on it's own. I was extremely satisfied with the training I recieved and hated to see it go.

TDSA Tulsa will remain in business and will continue to serve all those who are interested in our training. We will not be associated with USSA at all. The only thing that effects us here at TDSA is the fact that Mike Brown and the Praesidium Group are going over there to teach. As you may or may not know, TDSA Tulsa has hosted several classes for them and, will, as of now, be unable to do that because of USSA. I will continue to support Mike and the Praesidium Group no matter where he goes even if it's to a place like USSA.

I'm not going to discuss the reasons why TDSA Tulsa did not merge with USSA as planned so don't ask. Let's just say that there are a few people over there that I don't see eye to eye with and we'll leave it at that. Know this though, I developed almost all of their curriculla and you will see a strangely familiar tone to their course descriptions. I designed more than half of their courses and, if you'll look closely, you'll see that their course descriptions on line are almost word for word identical to TDSA's website. Go ahead and check for yourself. Their site is almost exactly like ours as far as their course descriptions go and the reason for this is because I wrote them. They took my curriculla and changed the name of their courses slightly but other than that, they are probably still the same ones I designed and wrote for them. They are "entitled" to my outlines only because I was being acting as a consultant for them for the short time I was there. Keep this in mind though, they may have the outlines, but they sure don't have anybody there who can teach em the way we can. Mike Brown is their best asset and I wish him well.

As for us, we're just gonna keep on doing what we do best and that is providing folks with the finest training available today for a fair price. There are more than 500 pages of testimonials on line on TDSA's website. We're doing something right obviously.

Good to hear TDSA will continue to remain in business. There are many courses I look forward to taking at TDSA in the future. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for training, TDSA guys are awesome.

Just a quick update on the 2007 calendar.

The Feb Advanced Pistol Level I is full and has been full for weeks. We have 26 students enrolled in the class. Now all we need is some pretty weather!

The June Advanced Pistol Level I is almost full. There are currently 18 students signed up so that leaves 6 more slots to fill until we close off the registrations for that course.

The Introduction to Firearms for Ladies is nearly full as well. There are 18 ladies signed up for this course which only leaves 2 open spots. The date for this course is March 31st and the tuition is only $150. We purposely schedule the ladies class right before we have a CCW class so gals can get the training they need before the CCW class. Too many people are misled by the CCW class and think that it's a shooting school. Sorry to disappoint folks. You can't teach anyone anything if they only shoot 50 rounds in the class! There is very little time for dry fire, weapons manipuluation exercises or anything else that they need to know. I would like to see this class be a two day course that actually had a qualification course to shoot, lecture on self-defense issues and a ton more shooting. I guess that's why TDSA does what it does though.....to offer the training that people need so they will be ready to protect the things worth protecting.

There are several spots available for the CCW class on April 1st. If it fills up (like it normally does) great! If not, we'll just go shoot that day!

The Shotgun School in March also has a few slots left in it. People must not know who Kurt Miller is cause I would be jumping all over the chance to train under this guy. He's incredible with a shotgun but even better with a rifle if you can imagine that. Cost for this 2 day class is $400 and is going to be one incredible school!

The Urban Rifle class is filling up fast too! Our Urban Rifle course is a 3 day class for $500 and is more fun that you can believe. We had an Air Force S.E.R.E Instructor, 5 guys from Fort Bragg and a ton of police officers in our last one. The civilians were blown a way at how much fun they had training with these guys and us! Come see why this is one of the best Urban Rifle classes around.

We've gotten 4 registrations for our Level II class that's scheduled for July. If you are a serious competition shooter or a cop who wants to learn more about fighting with a gun then this class is a must! We only take 10 students in this class because of all the movement and drills that we do.

Other than that, if you snooze you loose. Don't wait to sign up for the classes, you won't get in if you do.

Stay safe out there!
