My wife shot her fisrt USPSA/IPSC match today!

... and nearly beat me! :bigeye:

I'm really proud of her, She used excellent mechanics, and was very safe.

She won first place in the ladies division, and 15th overall. She even got a standing ovation on the last stage, Of which she finished 10th. (and there were some really good shooters there!):thumb:

I knew if I could get her out to one she would be hooked!

Shoot-n-Iron in Shawnee put together a really nice course, One of which you had to climb out of a car and shoot 3 targets and 6 steel popers. I had a great time, and can't wait for them to start their next season.

I'm really proud of her, She has been wanting to shoot a match for a while, But she also wanted more practice with her draw and reloading... Luckily I talked her into and she did alot better than she expected! I promise she did alot better than I did my first match!

I only gave her a few things to think about:
Be safe.
find the front sight.



Rob had to remind me after my first stage that my Glock 17 came from the factory equipped with sights, and I would do better if I actually used them! :smack:

I shot 3 targets in something like 2.5 seconds. and had like 2 Charlies, 1 Delta, and 3 Mikes. And these were at about 5yrds or so.:faint:
