Trust question

Are there any requirements in OK for setting up a living trust? Do I have to submit the trust to any court or other state agency? I obtained the software to print up a trust but it says nothing of any specific state requirements. I do know that I will have to have it witnessed and notarized before I submit it with my next batch of paperwork to the ATF.

No requirements and you do not have to submit the trust to any court or any other agency. Just get 1 page notorized and send in 2 copies of the notorized document to the ATF along with your paperwork.

No requirements to register it. One of the benefits of the trust is privacy.

However, you can register it with the probate courts which could help in a situation where the trust agreement is lost after your death or somebody disputes how the new trustee handles the trust. Unless you have crap weasel family members, don't bother registering it.
