Oh, and I'm first by the way. ;)

Both of my Savages seem to be having feed problems.

The first one is the Mark II. It is a bolt action and has a 10 round banana magazine. It shoots great evertime until you get to the last round in the magazine. Then it won't feed properly into the chamber.

The other one is a Stevens Model 62. It also has a 10 round magazine, but it jame up on the 2nd round and one other one, I can't remember which.

I called Savage the other day and they sent me a new magazine for each. I was gonna go try it out today, but didn't get around to it.

Has anybody else experienced feed problems with their Savages new or old that use magazines? If the new one's don't fix the problem then I think I'm gonna pull out all my hair.

I just now figured out what been going on.

There isn't a ramp into the chamber on these rifles. So the last bullet on the bolt action rifle is angled just a little differently than the first 9 and the flat nosed Winchester hollow points are butting up against the edge of the chamber. I went and bought some standart ball ammo and all ten loaded up into the chamber fine.

I'm assuming that the flat nosed hollow points may be the cause of my woes with the semi-auto also. So, yay for me in FINALLY getting it figured out. :)
