I'm going to SBS a Remington 870 express. I'll be going with a 12.5 inch barrel. Approximately what should I expect to pay for the barrel w/basic bead sight?

I'm trying to decide if I should buy one or just make my own. I've done one barrel from 28in down to 18in and when I was finished it looked just like it came from the factory (other than no sight). If the barrels are expensive, I'll most likely cut my own.

Just curious do you have the threaded so you can put choke tubes in them?

No license, he is bribing the ATF for a tax stamp. Just like SBRs, MGs, and suppressors.

Nope, just CB like the home defense model.

I like to think I'm giving one lucky agent a hell of a Christmas bonus this year.:selfangel

I know Remington makes a factory 14" 870 barrel, but I don't know about 12.5" barrels. My 870 AOW has a 12.5" with a screw in modified choke, but it was done by Scattergun Technologies (before they were bought out by Wilson Combat). Unless you want a screw in choke, it would probably be cheaper to just cut your current barrel once your Form 1 comes back. I wouldn't expect to pay more than $100 for any 870 short barrel.

I'd just cut it down myself. Hell you might even think about blunderbusing(sp) it just for "shock and awe" factor! :D

I'm still leaning toward building my own 870, but I'll think about it tonight and make a final decision tomorrow.:nolike:

I handled a Nova and was extremely unimpressed. I've felt better triggers on water pistols.
