This is the reply that I got about my letter addressing the gun confisication going on in the New Orleans area.
Dear Mr. Stephens:

Thank you for contacting me with your thoughts. Your
comments were very insightful.

Even though I return to the state almost every weekend, I
do not always have the opportunity to listen to everyone's ideas.
These ideas are important, as they are the building blocks of
Oklahoma's representation here in Washington. When you share
these ideas with me, you are sharing them with Congress and, in
turn, the nation.

Please feel free to contact me in the future. If we had more
Oklahoman common sense here in Washington, I think we would
get more accomplished.

Did you thank him for spelling your name right on the "form letter"?

Usually I get that standard form letter and later get an actual letter.(not often form Inhofe though)
Rep. John Sullivan actually has written me back on every single issue.

Coming from someone very active in political stuff I cna honestly say that he probably did not write that. If you want to speak to him goto a town hall meeting. That's one of few chances there are to speak in person.

BTW, I'm going to move this to Legal Political. :)
