This holster is really comfy. I couldn't wear it in the summer, but it will be great for the fall/winter. I can throw a sweatshirt or long shirt over it and I'll be set!

Just an update on the holster:

This holster is better than my vm2! No question. I can wear it ALL day. I wear it around the house, sitting on the couch, whatever. This is definately the most comfy holster I've ever had.

For IWB, go for the vm2, for OWB, go for the Alessi. I've noticed alot of other holster makers have very similar looking holsters, but I don't know if they fit and pull the gun in like the Alessi does??

I want one of these holsters for all my guns! I may order one eventually for the sig 220ST. It would be nice to carry! :gun1: :gun1:

Hey Stepper -
2 questions
1) How much is something like that?
2) Does it come in orange?

Well, I bought it for $80 used. They are around $100 new.

Why would you want to *destroy* a perfect holster by making it in orange?

Yes, I'll have to email them to you though. I was using a program to make my pics smaller to post them here and it now says its expired and it won't work! When I try to post them here, it says the pics are too big.

At the range, I was wearing the CQC with my 19. When I wear my XD, I use an IWB Bulman leather holster that is super nice too.

Don't laugh at a man and his gun......

Hey Stepper...I was wondering if you ever took some pics of this holster concealed? If so, would you please post them? Also, how well does this holster pull the grip in...I can't tell and it seems that since it is a rather low cut holster that there might be some flop. Hopefully I am wrong, because that is one beautiful holster!

One last question Stepper...I can't seem to find any info that describes what size those belt loops/snap fit? Are they 1.25", 1.5" etc?

No, I didn't take any pics of the holster concealed, but I'll be glad to for you as soon as I get a chance. I am off thursday, so I'll at least have them for you by then. :)

Oh, man, there is absolutely no flop!!!!!! The butt of the gun is tight, right against my body. It pulls is almost as close as a vm2, I'm not joking. When okcglocker, told me this, I didn't believe him, but after I tried it on, I was a believer!!

This holster is the best, all-around holster out there, and I've tried alot of them. There are alot of other people that will agreee with me.

The only bad thing is the long, long wait. I waited 16 or 17 weeks when I ordered my PCH from Alessi himself. Maybe it was 15, I'm not sure, but it was a long time!

Fantastic...I look forward to seeing the pictures.

I contacted Lightning Arms to purchase one this morning, and they are sold out! They told me to order from Alessi as the wait could be months and months on their end.

I went to Alessi's site, but it is under repair. However, there is a link on their site to purchase holsters. http://www.burnscustom.com/shop/showcat.php?cat=Holsters

This page is blocked on my work computer. Can some please see if they have the CQC/S for the Glock 19 and if so, how much $$?

Thanks!

Michael,

Thanks for checking. I am finding out that I was naive in assuming I could order one on such short notice. Every distributor I have found are out and are still waiting on orders from 2004. I talked to Alessi and he said he could have one for me in 16 weeks. I guess I'll go that route, unless of course Stepper wants to sell me his. :wink2: It'll fit a G19, right? :naughty:

As far as selling the holster, its my favorite overall holster, and I said I would never sell it, but anything can be bought for the right price......... How does $250 sound??

About the 10th week, you want to pull your hair out! The wait is a good test of patience. After you get the holster, yea, you'll be happy you got it!

I can only imagine...the longest I've had to wait for a holster was 3+ weeks from Hedley, and that seemed like eternity.

I can't complain though...good holsters made by craftsman ought to take a long time.
