I don't know, but I sure wish they had a public range on the WMA or on some of the Corp land somewhere around Oologah. We might try calling the Rogers County game warden or the Corp of Engineers office at Oologah.

I just called scott cox he is the ranger for oologah wma we will see if he callsback

ok i just talked to scott he said he could not let us do it there. If he had a shooting range it would not be a problem but he does not.

Rats! I wonder what it would take for the ODWC to set up a shooting range on the WMA, like they have over at Ft. Gibson?

He said he has asked and they will not let him to many people trash the place up and they dont want to pay people to clean up trash.

Well that is really too bad. A few people just ruin things for everyone.

i havent heard anything either, i have zero equipment to mow or brushog anything. I heard today there was a silver nissan quest minivan parked out there, no one to my knowledge in my family has one, if someone is going out there you need to let me know!! i dont want random strangers out on my property please

alright guys after the events of this morning i'm afraid i'm gonna have to pass on this whole shooting on my land idea, i will post a thread about it in GD. i'm gonna pm a mod about deleting some of my posts too, for good reason

Well AKguy sorry to hear about those troubles. I sure hope it wasn't someone on here that found out about your place. But, probably a lesson learned for all of us about posting personal info in an open forum.

I wish it would have worked out that some of us Claremore guys could have gotten together for a shoot. If anyone comes up with another place where we can do this, lets try to get this going again.
