WTS Marvel Unit 2 22 Conversion for 1911

For sale, a Marvel Unit 2 only. Pictures show it on a Colt 1991A1 frame but the frame is not for sale. Comes with two metal (Colt Ace type) magazines. One has tight feed lips and is a little fussy to load but feeds fine. Adjustable sights. No hold open. Shot about 600 rounds through it, mostly CCI Stinger solid (not HP). Cartridges with hollow points are not terribly reliable as the nose will sometimes hang in feeding. HP bullet weight (37 grains) vs solid point weight (40 grains) may have something to do with it. 40 grain high velocity is the recommended cartridge. Standard velocity will not cycle the slide - at least not Wolf MT (although it shot very well). Tulsa area, $280 face-to-face. Please contact at km683@yahoo.com if interested (not PM).
