I could always use an expert in locating a final place for the club. If you could PM me a contact I will let you know the size requirement we need.

This is something that I have thought a little about before myself. I think to really make this work we would need about 80 to 100 members to start off with and put the whole thing together in the first place. Everyone would probably need to make $100.00 dollar investment up front to give us some capital for supplies , deposits on the building and other things. On top of that a monthly due of $30.00 dollars or so would need to be in place to keep everything paid for.I also think we need some legal help as how to set this thing up so that it is in some type of business so that the building and everything can be set up in its name and not just an individual.

Not trying to tell you how to do it , I am just sharing some of the thoughts I have had on this before. Keep me updated on your thoughts and plans. I know I can get about 10 people on board right off the bat....
You are thinking along the same lines that I am as far as how many members it would take to make a go of it. With the numbers that I am working with we shouldn't need a monthly due. Myself and a couple of people that I work with are willing to get things started so that way we don't need 80-100 people in the beginning, possibly 30-40 and work up at 8-10 a month till we get enough. Thanks for the input, if you have any other ideas please just let me know.

Just keep me updated on when you need some help and I will be there. I also have a friend in heat and air to help us out and probably throw in a little change up front. I have 6 people that would definitely be in and willing to help , and could probably come up with a few more if needed.

I have found a couple of places that would work for a building. The one that seems like the best deal is off I-40 so that puts it in the middle of OKC. If you are interested in becoming a member please PM me. Like I said before we are looking at having a membership of around $100 per year for unlimited 24 hour 7 days a week being able to shoot. If I can get 20 - 25 people from here and the people I know from outside, we should be able to get started. Just to set everyone's mind at ease all membership money will be put into an account that will be set up to only pay range expenses and all members will be able to see what money comes in and where it goes out. I think that is the only way to keep the club fair. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

I would be interested. I do sheet metal for a living (commercial, industrial ductwork), have done tile and finish work, painting and general construction on the side for extra $$$ I can weld too, not the best but good.

It looks like we have found a building for the club/range. We will be having a get together next week so people interested in joining can ask any questions and get signed up. Right now the pricing will be $100.00 per year for the first 15 people to join, and it will also lock their renewal in at $100.00 per year. After that we are going to go to $150.00 per year and $150.00 per renewal year. If you have any questions I can answer now just let me know.
