Yeah, but if you aren't happy with your marriage get out without humiliating your spouse and children. Hell, if he lost half of his fortune he would still be wealthier than 99.9% of the world.

Re: The Tiger Woods family Christmas portrait
Don't know why we make people like Tiger out to be heros and role models just because they have a talent or fame. Too many people wind up feeling let down when it turns out they're human after all.
And I agree 100% with Shootin 4 Fun. If you ain't happy, get a divorce.

I'm with GTG... yet again. It makes me sick that modern heroes are entertainers.

Re: The Tiger Woods family Christmas portrait
I don't really like golf, never have been a real 'fan' of Tiger and don't see him as any type of hero. However, I do see him as a human that makes mistakes and think it's stupid that there is so much publicity because he has screwed up and everyone wants to hang him out to dry because of it. It really is an issue between him and his family and if they can work it out together and move on then that is awesome.
Buuut... where's the story or fun in seeing a family stick together after someone royally screws up? Oh, it's some famous rich family who has more money than me.. It seems that everyone would much rather see someone get destroyed over their screw ups than see them learn and move on. It kinda baffles me, honestly. I seriously doubt you'd have the same feelings if your best buddy got himself into some similar trouble..
Oh and I do agree with S4F regarding GTFO of the marriage if you are not happy.

Right, and if their mistakes were aired for all to see I'm sure many would be found to be doing the same thing Tiger did.

First off, I believe atheletes deserve privacy just like everybody else.
If Tiger stuck just with the 100+ million dollars he earned as an athlete, then the public deserves to know nothing about his private life at all.
But he earned something like 800+ million dollars in endorsements - by lending his image to products. That is inevitably and very reasonably going to invite people to be curious about what you are like as a person.

Yep, he sure doesn't bitch about his privacy when he cashes that check from Nike.
