Where on your person can you CC if you're wearing those cycling shorts and tight shirts? In a fanny pack, or just tell people you're really happy to see them?

Our police chief uses a frame pack that sits just below his handles bars when he rides. At least one of his deputies does, too.

Oh, and the tight shirts have very useful pockets.

Jersey pocket. The "shirts" that cyclists wear do have pockets. They're actually fairly large. I guess people aren't aware of this.

Is that where they stick the all the waters bottles during races? I always see someone on a motorcycle hand a cyclist a bunch of water bottles that disappear into their shirts.

Good for that guy defending himself. Sucks that they were dumb and 1 had to die, but they were assaulting him. Can't wait for the full media spin on this about how guns are bad and a teen got killed by one while helping an old man fix his bike that he had fallen off of...

Yes and no. Yes, the pockets are used to hold water bottles during races like that, but often the guy is stuffing them anywhere and everywhere he can, not just his pockets.

Riders on a team have certain jobs and for the younger or newer guys it's often working to help the team by providing water and other such things to guys in the peloton. I've seen guys take on literally a dozen bottles, most ending up inside the jersey once the pockets are full.

Most cycling jerseys have three pockets on the outside around the lower back area. They have elastic at the entrance and are pretty large (as madd said). Most riders (who aren't pros) carry extra clothes, food, tools and such in them. Some carry guns, too.
