The handle feels pretty good. No sharp edges or hot spots. I didn't want a shiny blade. The blade was acid etched and stone washed. Steve/LEARCH calls the the knife like I got the "Little Boogie" and it usually comes with a different skinner type blade. I showed him a blade on my Benchmade folder that I like and Steve did the blade like I wanted.

He has a Facebook page and a website for (Lerchknives.net) his knives knives. He makes the knives at his house close to Okc. There are a couple of blade designs he uses but Steve will work with you on different styles. Steve also has several different colors and styles of wood for the handles. I think his knives start around $200 and go up from there. They also come with a kydex sheath.

In the second pic the scales and tang do not appear to be flush. Is it just me?

This is what I was referring to when I said rough. I figured the blade wasn't supposed to be shiny or his post would have been showing us all how terrible it is. The fit of handle to tang looks rather poor. It actually looks clocked as its low in the rear and high in the front. At least it appears to be in the second image.
