I have never hunted, but would love to try. I just never had the opportunity to learn I only just got into shooting about 7 years ago.
I used to hunt but not any more. Just murder the center of paper targets now.
Nobody in my family hunted or owned guns. How I got the bug, I don't know. I suspect it was from reading books when I was a kid. I still love to read.
It is odd. My grandpa didn't hunt nothin, he didn't even care fir guns. But then he was the bad ass of the pacific in boxing during ww2. but his boys hunt like crazy, they have their own arsenal. I don't really put in effort except a few birds. My kids don't give a **** about it either. It saddens me.
I'm about the only one in my family that hunts..My Dad never hunted and us four boys grew up hunting squirrels and rabbits but once grown my brothers never did want to deer hunt..I would hunt ever day if I could..
I never got into it and don't care to try. I've just never liked the idea of going out at the ass crack of dawn to shoot an unsuspecting critter. I know I'll feel bad about it and don't want to deal with it. On the other hand, I have no problem butchering Bambi's mom if someone else will pull the trigger. I'm by no means against hunting, it's just not for me. Eating the hunted on the other hand...I'm all for it!
