I think this paragraph from the first link says it best

When you've recovered from your nausea, ask yourselves this: What kind of country do we live in where law-abiding businesses are fined, threatened and demonized for refusing to bake gay wedding cakes, but barbaric baby butchers are hailed by feminists, Hollywood and a president who asked God to "bless" them?

I'm as sick as the next ****, but come on, show a little respect to the souls lost to abortion.

This^^^^

In addition, since Roe v Wade, over 55,000,000 (yes, that's 55 MILLION) babies have been aborted. The U.S., those that advocate or condone abortion, and the Supreme Court have managed to kill more people than Hitler's "final solution," and they are gaining on Stalin's killing machine.

Oh, and just for grins, the sources for the numbers of abortions come from the states (minus a few of them that don't report abortions) and the Guttmacher Institute. Guttmacher is or was associated with Planned Parenthood and their numbers come from the actual abortion doctors and/or their clinics.

I no longer hold my faith, but I still have great sympathy for Christians. In a country where they are vilified for being intolerant, many still adhere to Mathew 7:1, and Romans 12:19. I simply do not wish to go to prison.

Since i don't see a link to check for myself, can you tell me if that number includes all medical abortions (as in health of the mother, rape/incest, non-viable fetuses, etc)? Or is that figure strictly elective?

I'm neither for nor against abortion. I believe it's a demon best wrestled with by the individuals experiencing the situation. I also believe it has less than nothing to do with the good governance of a free republic.

That being said, I'd ask everyone to imagine amongst the current U.S. population of 365+ Million people, an additional 55 million (and their offspring) who were unwanted by their biological progenitors, many of whom would be raised in poverty. While I'm sure a significant portion of them would grow up to be loved and provide a positive contribution, what percentage of them wouldn't? Would it have a higher statistical value than the current populace? What would the net effect be on the overall health and welfare of the country, (which isn't exactly great as it currently stands)? On crime statistics? On government assistance statistics?

I'm not intent on changing anyone's mind on the subject, just adding some food for thought. Carry on!
