I picked up some Hornady .45 bullets as part of a deal I made. They are copper plated only around the base, maybe 1/2 way up the sides with the rest being exposed lead in a semi-round nose (kind of a flat tip). The box looks like something I would have found in my grandpa's basement. Red cardboard with the metal reinforcing tabs on the corners. Any issue loading these? I suppose I can email Hornady and see if they have load data for them, cause they sure aren't in the current edition of the Hornady reloading manual...
Yup. Find the weight and load on the light side of plated specs to begin with.
What diameter, what do they weigh and what are you planning to load them for?
