at least you will admit your a socialist.

Well, I don't think that's the whole picture.

I don't believe in controlling the entire industry, just the health insurance. Not comparable to the UK or VA. More comparable to Canada.

I also believe in regulated market capitalism. Infact, I'm actually quite moderate.

How is that possible? You've been on your parent's plan according to you.

Still doesn't mean you've been out in the real world, junior lol.

True. My personal experiences are limited or different from many folks here. But my dad didn't always have insurance.

Infact, both sides of my family were dirt poor until relatively recently. Many folks in my family have actually died from lack of insurance.

For example, my aunt died of easily treatable cancer because she couldn't afford a doctor to check her out.

When she was finally treated however she still couldn't afford it and she was treated courtesy of the American taxpayer at the hospital. Or maybe they just shifted the cost to other customers. Either way by then it was terminal.

So you need to pick a stance because you're lying somewhere. You JUST got done talking about how efficient Medicaid was and now you're saying you had family members
that were turned away because they were poor? Well Medicaid covers the poor so Healthcare was available and you just said it was efficient. Now which is it?

Your relatives' experiences are anecdotal, but TJ's aren't. Lol

Well, it is just anecdotal. But when I give actual data or statistics to prove my point from verified and reputable sources such as the CBO, all I get are criticisms of my education and experience.

Then I get called a socialist.

I support universal healthcare because it makes economic and social sense.
