Guys, it doesn’t matter what you think or say. The owner of this forum has made it clear he’s not changing anything, despite the comments and requests of the long-time members. I think it’s about the more people that come to the forum, the more ad revenue he gets. It’s all about the money.
Very very true

Why else would you invest in a business venture.

Name the dog. If OSA has an isssue with it, then they need to explain that. Need to mention a deal is a deal. Backing down on a deal forfits all consideration. PS. ASS HOLE COPS are in the same percentage as the rest of us.

POST HIS LINK. I've grown up with a handshake is better than a check or an 19 page contract. Means more. Post his name and we should make a point to never do business with him again and warn any other places he's at. He'll quit here anyway....and I'll probably get kicked out first. Ha.
Sorry. A deals a deal. I don't get it.

Had a "new to the site" member ghost me on a deal over the weekend. We were supposed to meet Saturday and he won't answer texts. He's about to get negative feedback.

Man you have THE worst luck of anyone I've seen. It's like you're constantly getting ghosted or the run around.

I thought that it was a given that whoever shows up with the money first wins? Lying or scamming, etc. is awful, but if whenever I've ever posted say a vehicle for sale somewhere, I make it clear if I am getting other calls and whoever shows up with the money is the winner. This is because someone can commit to a deal and then back out and then the seller has turned away other buyers; so this example given in this thread could work the opposite direction right?

Having said all that, I have sold tickets before and honored the deal despite getting higher offers. I just think as long as someone is honest, maybe we should all assume that people need the money and can't be faulted for making the best deal they can as long as they don't legitimately scam someone.

I did once sell a vehicle to a guy from Tulsa. I told him that if I got a better offer, I would let him know before he got time to come see it. He was okay with that, but once he was in route, I did not check my e-mails and waited for him to get here to see it. I would not have sold it while he was literally on the way.

Is telling people in the listing that the highest bidder who shows up first wins reasonable? How do you handle it if you are selling something a lot of people are interested? Do you let them outbid or what?
