I guess if he only wants to sell to people in newcastle that might work, but I for one live about the same distance from two of sooner's stores as I do from Newcastle. guess where I'm going? there are lots of us gun buyers that will drive all over to buy guns ,but I'm not going out of my way for a place that is higher than the other options
I get that but he's got no competition for miles and lotsa folks in and around that area. Personally I like SSP but would pay a little more just to avoid the neighborhood their south side store is in. And so would lotsa other folks. There's a lot of money in the area he's set up in. The next Galardia [sic] caliber housing addition is going in 2 miles west of his store.

I choose local gun shops based on service, selection, and other things...not lowest price. You don't have to have the lowest prices to have the best gun shop.
Thanks for the heads up. I will price match other local (within 50 miles) stores. I hope that everything I have is competitive.

As I've been adjusting prices, you may look at non-firearm accessories. He's making his money on everything else - which seems to be on par with other shops. They have great prices on some things and make up for it other places.
