I love stories like this. This 77-year-old woman and her 87-year-old neighbor are two women that perps don't want to mess around with---unless the perps want to assume room temperature. Too bad that most politicians don't have the intestinal fortitude that these two Hillsboro, MO LADIES have when it comes to self defense and guns.

Evidently not, but some good did come of the 77yr. old grabbing her shotgun and making the perps beat a hasty retreat. At least they have a person of interest and the department acknowledges that Jackson and her neighbors have their right to protect themselves. Good for the two ladies and good for the Hillsboro PD:
