Advise buyer he can inspect at ffl before filling out 4473, Once he fills it out any remorse is his problem.
Never do a gun sale using Paypal. The scammers will claim they want their money back, which they will get and you will be banned from Paypal.
not really true, but you could get banned.

I've used my wife's paypal account a few times, but it's a bad idea given the companies stance/policy. I prefer postal money orders as currency in all online gun transactions. Nearly all FFL's I've dealt with WILL receive a firearm from a non-FFL, but they usually require a copy of the shipper's drivers license or CHL.
BE SURE TO ASK UP FRONT!!!!!

Stick with discrete paypal (i.e., friends/family gift), and you'll be fine b/c nobody can contest those transactions.

And you have no recourse, either. No way in hell I'd do that as the buyer. Unless it were someone I knew and trusted from on here or whatever. Anyone asks me to send PP gift that I don't know (and it happens frequently on another forum I am on for electronics), I decline the purchase. Just not worth the risk.

I've bought many items online that way, including many guns...probably over 100 purchases from an unknown individual (other than established presence on a forum), and I've never had a problem. The vast, vast majority of people care more about their reputation online than screwing people out of money. I know it's happened before...m4carbine forum banned using paypal because of it...but it's rare on a forum like this.

Like I said, people here on the forum, I would be more likely... but not in the situation the OP is talking about from an out of state owner. I've been ripped off a time or two on Ebay and PayPal and certainly wouldn't want to think about losing the kind of money involved in a firearm purchase.
