Any recommendations for a deer processor in the okc/Edmond area? Got a buddy in from PA that ones to take one there if he scores this week
Terry's does good work, from what I've heard. There's one or two in the Guthrie area that are good. Thankfully Thunderbird Processing is too far for you. I'd never recommend it.
Sallees on Seward rd and sooner south of Guthrie is the best place. Very clean, quick turnaround, and friendly service. Took them 4 a couple years ago and they were great.
Terry's is not bad but I think Sallees does a better job and cheaper from what I can remember.

We took it too Sallee's. Having never taken a deer to a processor here in Oklahoma I don't know what the going rate is but there prices were high compared to Nebraska.
I have used both Salle's and Terry's and they have done good work.
Sallees is high but they do quality work, great people too.
I didn't leave it there. My buddy from PA did and I have no clue what he got. I just saw summer sausage was $4 a lb and about fell over. I get it made in Nebraska for $2.40 a lb with boned out meat and it is really good stuff!

Make that stuff yourself. Its easy and you can season it to taste.
Yes I do sometime. But when I have a huge load of boned out meat I get lazy because I lack the time honestly and just haul it in. I still make all my own breakfast sausage and do make my own summer and brats when time allows.
