I've known all summer who died in the season premiere - found a spoiler site where they used insider info from the sets while they filmed all season 7 episodes and listed by episode all the actors/actresses who were on set. By process of elimination they stated who would be killed in the S7 premiere and they were spot on.
Those glamour shots of Carl during the bashing were pretty laughable. I really like Jeffrey Dean Morgan but he is horribly miscast in this role.
I disagree wholeheartedly. I think JDM makes an awesomely wicked bad guy. I love to hate him, which sounds antithetical, but makes for great watching and character development while pulling you in; almost a Stockholm scenario if you will. I'm all in on this season. As I have been the previous five (didn't find the show until season 2 and quickly caught up).
I've been watching since Season One. I have to admit the bludgeoning scenes were difficult for me to watch and made me sick to my stomach. That being said, I can't wait until next Monday (Amazon Prime since I don't have cable) and I think Jeffrey Dean Morgan is perfect as Negan. I'm anxious to see where this season will go. I wonder if Negan will only be this season or stretched into Season 8 like they did with The Governor.
