Is the Palmetto BCG the way to go?

Not looking for something over the top...just need a good reliable BCG for a truck gun.
My other gun got one of the "premium full auto" BCG's on sale but I cant seem to find any for a better price. Any suggestions or just stick with that?

Aim surplus has some pretty top notch bolts for the price. I know it's too late for this deal but I picked up a nib bcg, stripped Anderson upper and charging handle from aim for $140 to my door. It arrived 3 days after I paid opposed to the 3 weeks palmetto runs.

I may go see what AIM has in stock when I'm in the area in a few weeks. Dont need this one up and running quite yet and its always fun to stop by their place.

The AR bolt takes a beating, and is one of the most common parts to break. If you want a "reliable" one, I'd suggest shooting for quality on this part.

Primary Arms ran FailZero BCG for 99.00 black friday, perhaps between now and Christmas they will again. i use their carrier but use ARP superbolts.

Right now you can get a Fail Zero Nickel-Boron BCG from Primary Arms for $99. I bought 3 of them. Mine has functioned very well both of my AR's (5.56 and 300 Blkout). I polished one of them up really good with some Mother's Aluminum polish and a Dremel, and it cleans up very easily after 200 - 300 rounds. Great BCG in my opinion.

When you polished it would you not have burned through some of the coating?
