    I've done a little square foot gardening in the back yard with upside down buckets above the raised bed. It really is surprising how much can be grown in a small area. Moving out of town soon though...

    I think I'm going to Forward mount a scout scope on my 10/22 to check it out and see what I think of it. I like the idea of a simple fixed power with quick release rings.

    Have both and both seem to be equally accurate in stock form. Ruger has been time tested for sure though. Magazines in 597 are the only thing I've ever had an issue with which the ruger performs...
