Re: Inherting guns - what did/do you do?

If there are sons/daughters in the family, even nieces/nephews seriously consider keeping them. They may well find them a fine useable piece of remembrance.

Re: Who all is waiting for their CCW?

I imagine that tracking individual SDA licenses, that are being issued with no delays, is near impossible for them to accomplish with the staff they have. One of my kids was pushing towards 90 days...

Re: CCL reg's on protective orders

The statutes here are a good read. To the OP, I'd suggest to closely study them. A close read of exactly what was recently done by the judge is the next order of business. If the result is not...

Re: anyone like the Glock 30?

G-36 takes a special single-stack mag, the only one in the Glock stable of handguns. The mag gave Glock fits when the gun was first introduced.

Add a 30 SF to the list. G 21 mags fit just fine. Hang out a ways below the magwell, as to be expected.

Re: anyone like the Glock 30?

A G-30 SF is what you want, if you have to have a .45 ACP in a Glock 19/23 size package. Okay, its just a tad bigger. The Gen 3's spring system allow it to be quite controllable for repeat shots. ...

    Re: Ammo

Don't be concerned about using quality hard-cast lead bullets in 1911's. I've fired a few 100,000's of them in various 1911's. Hard cast lead can be very accurate, as well as cost effective.

Re: New .22 Pistol - Help me decide

Re: wheel gun mods- yes or no?

Remember that by bobbing the hammer spur, you've lost some mass off the part of the gun that "lights" the primer. Possibly you won't lose 100% reliable ignition.

    I'm a fan of the 642/442/early...
